New Facebook Trend:Visually Bragging About Poverty

When I was a kid people didn’t brag about how poor they were, mostly because it was something to be ashamed of. Do you think that Pollock family down by the train tracks that wore burlap sack shirts to school came bragging about how poor they were? Do you think their father went to the town park and held up signs fussing about how the rich people in town were to blame for him and his family living in poverty? No.
He went around and asked for work. If there was no work he picked up aluminum cans or coke bottles for the dime refund. But this is a different day and age. Instead of Americas youth doing something to improve them selves they annoy the towns people with their out of touch hippie granola and patchouli message of communism and marxism.
Now they are infecting my twitteryfacebooks page with their commie pinko whining.
College aged hipsters and unemployed losers, who are too lazy to take time out of their busy schedule of downloading Hoarders and Dancing with the Stars on the computer and posting insulting atheistic messages on good christian websites, are taking to online social sites. They are posting pictures of them selves holding up pieces of paper describing how they took out $120,000 student loans to get a B.A. in Theatre Arts’ and are not crying about how they can’t find a dinner theatre gig that pays $50,000 a year.
